I accept make-up work from students who have excused absences. This means that students must have their absence cleared at the attendance office within 5 days in order to get credit for their make-up work. Students who have unexcused absences (truancies) cannot make-up the work they missed. Students have as many days as they were absent to make-up their work. (A student who misses 1 day turns in his/her make-up work the next day after he/she returns.) Mount Miguel policy is that students may have up to 10 unexcused absences (truancies) before losing credit for a class.
